Job summary

VenorTalent is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer in Canada to develop firmware and DSP for advanced sensor systems, working closely with hardware, mechanical, software and test teams.

You will design, implement and optimize real-time embedded software for ARM Cortex-M with RTOS, focusing on performance, memory efficiency and reliability from concept through production and field support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of embedded firmware experience in C/C++.
• Experience with ARM Cortex-M or similar processors.
• RTOS-based software development experience.
• Digital signal processing algorithm development experience.
• Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture.
• Experience with SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet, CAN, BLE.
• Proficient debugging using JTAG/SWD, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
• Proficient with Git for version control.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded firmware for ARM-based systems.
• Develop real-time software for sensor acquisition, DSP, communications, and control.
• Optimize algorithms for DSP, filtering, spectral analysis, and feature extraction.
• Collaborate with hardware and test teams for board bring-up and verification.
