Job summary

University of Manitoba invites applications for an Electrophysiologist in the Section of Cardiology within the Department of Internal Medicine. This is a geographic, full-time contingent position at the Assistant, Associate or Professor rank to commence on July 1, 2027 or soon after, for a two-year term renewable upon favourable review.

The successful candidate will join a robust arrhythmia/electrophysiology program with extensive device labs, ablation services, and active clinical trials,

Qualifications

Demonstrated interdisciplinary collaboration and effective communication in a large academic division.
Proven training in Cardiac Electrophysiology with competency in general cardiology.
Clinical and teaching skills to support undergraduate and postgraduate education in Adult Cardiology.

Responsibilities

Provide electrophysiology services and device implantation/ablation procedures.
Participate in clinical trials and contribute to multidisciplinary patient care.
Engage in teaching and supervision of residents and fellows in Cardiology.
