Qualifications

• 10+ years commercial electrical experience.
• 2+ years estimating experience (design-assist and TI preferred).
• Strong knowledge of CEC and local codes.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, Accubid, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of labor productivity and installation methods.
• Knowledge of contracts and construction conditions.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and communicate with customers to develop clear scopes of work aligned with project goals.
• Build relationships and communicate with vendors for procurement of project materials.
• Prepare timely, accurate, detailed estimates.
• Read and interpret drawings, specs, and tender documents.
• Identify risks, gaps, and scope issues early.
• Support operations with purchasing and change order pricing.
• Ensure smooth turnover to operations.
• Maintain a live pipeline report.
• Track estimate vs. actual performance.
• Present weekly estimating updates.
• Deliver post-job variance summaries.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of estimating systems and processes.
