Bluestar Engineering Ltd., based in Calgary, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our multi-discipline EPCM team. The role involves preparing electrical procurement documents, performing calculations, and coordinating construction packages for upstream oil and gas projects.

The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary diploma in Process Piping Design or equivalent and 0–3 years of EPCM experience, with strong verbal and written communication and a collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Process Piping Design or equivalent.
• 0–3 years of related EPCM experience.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare procurement documents for electrical equipment independently or under PM direction.
• Perform electrical calculations: load flow, voltage drop, cable ampacity, short circuit studies.
• Develop construction work packages with electrical designers (SLDs, cable schedules, layouts).
• Archive and organize project documentation; maintain project records and drawings.
