Vard Marine Inc. is seeking a senior engineer to lead design and supervision of electrical and control systems for specialized ships.

You will coordinate with engineering teams, ensure compliance with classification society rules, and support project management tasks from concept to commissioning. The ideal candidate holds a Professional Engineer designation, 10+ years of post-graduate experience, and excellent communication skills in English.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent engineering degree required.
• Professional Engineer designation is required.
• Fluent in written and verbal English with excellent communication and technical writing skills.
• 10+ years of post-graduation experience in industry.

Aufgaben

• Perform and review concept and detail design of ship electrical and control systems.
• Review equipment FAT, FMEA, audits, ship commissioning and start-up.
• Liaise with clients and build trusting relationships.
• Prepare and present reports to clients in face-to-face meetings.
• Provide technical support to business development and sales efforts.
