Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a talented Electrical Engineer to join our Ports and Marine team. You will contribute to the planning, design, coordination and delivery of electrical systems for port and waterfront projects.

This role covers MV/LV distribution, shore power, UPS, lighting, grounding, and coordination with civil, structural, geotechnical, and environmental disciplines. You will prepare technical reports, calculations, drawings and specifications while supporting project delivery from

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
P.Eng. designation or eligibility for registration with the provincial engineering association is preferred.
Experience in the design and delivery of ports, marine, transportation, industrial, waterfront, or infrastructure projects.
Demonstrated understanding of electrical systems related to ports and marine environments, such as MV/LV distribution, shore power, grounding, UPS, lighting, signaling, and cable routing.
Familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit, ETAP, SKM or related tools.
Bilingual English and French communication considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review technical reports, engineering calculations, design drawings, specifications, and cable routing.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to support integrated project delivery.
Assist with proposals, feasibility studies, cost estimates, and project planning.
Support site investigations, commissioning activities, and operational handover in port environments.
