Job summary

Husky Technologies is seeking a Designer, Development (Electrical) in Bolton, Ontario to design and deliver complete electrical sub-systems for automated machinery from concept through validation to manufacturing.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, 5–10 years in machinery automation, and experience with electrical design calculations; NX/EPLAN experience preferred. On-site role with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven product development experience in machinery automation.
• Experience with electrical design calculations and circuit design.
• Experience as a project lead is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Understand design requirements, business needs, and industry regulations.
• Design and deliver complete electrical sub-systems for automated machinery.
• Power system sizing, protection, and servo system sizing.
• 3D modeling of electrical equipment and cables on the machine and in cabinets.
• Prepare manufacturing documentation and support assembly and testing.
