• Minimum 7 years of switchgear design experience.
• Strong knowledge of protection and control schematics and wiring design for MV switchgear.
• Experience with CAD tools Zuken E3, MicroStation, or Solid Edge.
• Experience with ERP systems Oracle and 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Responsabilidades

We are looking for an experienced Senior Electrical Designer with a strong background in medium-voltage switchgear and protection & control (P&C) systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing electrical schematics, detailed wiring diagrams, and bills of materials for medium-voltage switchgear projects. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to support design accuracy and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop low-voltage protection and control (P&C) schematics and detailed wiring diagrams for medium-voltage switchgear.
• Prepare bills of materials (BOMs) and electrical design documentation.
• Select and specify electrical components, including CTs, VTs, protection relays, meters, FT switches, and circuit breakers.
• Collaborate with mechanical designers to optimize electrical component layouts.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and quality teams to resolve design and production issues.
• Process engineering change orders (ECOs) using 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable CSA, IEEE, and UL standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related discipline, including power engineering coursework.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in switchgear design.
• Strong knowledge of protection and control schematics and detailed wiring design for medium-voltage switchgear.
• Experience with electrical CAD tools such as Zuken E3, MicroStation, or Solid Edge.
• Knowledge of electrical protection relays, CTs, VTs, MV breakers, switches, and associated components.
• Experience with ERP systems, including Oracle and 3DEXPERIENCE.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams.
