Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
• Advanced experience with electrical/control systems and automation concepts.
• Strong PLC programming and HMI design across multiple platforms.
• Experience designing/troubleshooting fiber optic networks.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and P&IDs.
• Willingness to travel 25–35% across North America.

Responsibilities

• Review and create/maintain electrical schematics, diagrams and docs.
• Design/integrate PLC and HMI systems for renewable energy automation.
• Integrate substation systems, relays, RTACs, and networks.
• Lead testing and mentor juniors; troubleshoot control systems.
• Oversee on-site field commissioning and network troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Mentor others and apply evolving tech to improve workflows.
