Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Senior Analyst, Business Operations eCommerce to drive data-driven improvements across eCommerce operations in the Mississauga area. You will analyze complex datasets, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize onboarding, delivery quality, and customer service while supporting marketing initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong Excel skills, and proficiency with Tableau or Power BI.

Qualifications

• Education & Aptitude: Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a highly quantitative field with demonstrated numerical aptitude.
• Professional Experience: 2–4 years in business operations, retail merchandising, supply chain logistics, or eCommerce analytics.
• Technical Toolkit: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience building dashboard tools (e.g., Tableau or Power BI).
• Communication: Strong ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders.
• Advanced Analytics: SQL experience to extract and manipulate data from cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud Platform / BigQuery).
• Domain Expertise: Background in Last Mile/Final Mile delivery systems or eCommerce operational planning.
• AI & Automation: Familiarity with using AI tools to enhance analytical workflows and automate reporting tasks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex datasets to identify patterns and develop actionable insights for eCommerce operations.
• Monitor KPIs, report findings to leadership, and recommend data-driven solutions to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Manage and optimize onboarding, delivery quality, and customer service processes.
• Develop and deploy marketing strategies, including online advertising, SEO, and referral incentives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvements across all operational components.
• Develop and maintain reporting tools and dashboards with automated and ad hoc reporting.
