Job summary

Cenovus Energy is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Lloydminster to lead safe and reliable maintenance across Upgrader facilities. This role requires directing E&I teams, ensuring work planning, prioritization, and execution with a strong focus on safety and asset reliability.

The ideal candidate will have 12+ years in oil & gas maintenance, 3+ years in leadership, and proficiency in SAP and maintenance systems, with a Canadian work authorization.

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Journeyman and/or Interprovincial Red Seal certification in Instrumentation or Electrical.
• Diploma or certificate in Trades, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline is considered an asset.
• Minimum 12+ years of oil and gas maintenance experience.
• Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in SAP and maintenance management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe and effective execution of Electrical & Instrumentation maintenance activities across the Upgrader Complex.
• Maintain accountability for the safety of employees and contractors, as well as the reliable execution of preventative, corrective, and emergent maintenance activities.
• Provide direct leadership, supervision, coaching, and performance management to Electrical & Instrumentation maintenance personnel.
• Oversee the planning and execution of preventative, corrective, and emergent maintenance work to support safe, reliable, and efficient operations.
• Drive maintenance performance and schedule attainment, with accountability for CM and PM compliance, workforce productivity (wrench time), work order aging, Safety Critical Element (SCE) compliance and tracking, and contractor expenses.
• Deliver safe work execution, reliable asset performance, maintenance schedule compliance, and continuous improvement through effective work management and team leadership.
