A leading engineering consultancy in Canada is seeking a Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Designer to support complex petrochemical projects. You will be responsible for designing and updating electrical and instrumentation documents, ensuring compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate has over 8 years of experience in similar environments and proficiency in AutoCAD and SPI/INtools, with strong teamwork and communication skills. Qualifications
8+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation design, ideally in petrochemical or industrial environments.
Familiarity with hazardous area and intrinsic safety standards.
Strong understanding of industrial power and control systems.
Responsibilities
Design and produce layout and schematic drawings for electrical and instrumentation systems.
Prepare assembly drawings, bills of materials, and technical documentation.
Update existing designs and implement required modifications.
Support manufacturing and commissioning activities.
Ensure compliance with CSA, NEC, API, ISA, and related standards.
