Wood currently has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Drafter in our Power Solutions’ engineering team. The candidate will be based out of our Vancouver, BC office. Drafters are vital members of our engineering team and support our project teams in delivering quality engineering documents. Salary Range

$80,000-$110,000

Minimum Qualifications

1. Diploma in Computer Aided Design technology from an accredited University / College or equivalent
2. Minimum 7 years drafting experience in transmission, substation, and distribution
3. Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation
4. Experience with Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD 3D, Revit or Civil 3D
5. Eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
6. Proficiency in MS Office
7. 2D, Isometric CAD drafting & manual drafting
8. Knowledge of electrical safety design codes and industrial drafting standards
9. Ability to learn standards from multiple clients and share knowledge with peers
10. Creating plans, profiles, and cross sections from surveys and maps
11. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
12. Open-mindedness and quick learning ability
13. Strong verbal and written communication skills
14. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a multidisciplinary team with minimal supervision
15. Effective organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment
16. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
