Job summary

Uline, a North American leader in shipping, industrial and packaging materials, seeks a Senior Distribution Director to manage our Milton facility. You will oversee a 1 million square-foot operation and a team of 300+ associates, ensuring fast, accurate shipping and exceptional safety and quality standards.

You bring 10+ years of hands-on DC leadership, strategic warehouse experience, and the ability to build high-performing teams; bachelor’s degree preferred and a track record of improving

Qualifications

• Must have 10+ years of hands-on management in large distribution centers (500,000+ sq ft).
• Experience recruiting and motivating a 300+ employee team.
• Experience with performance metrics and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.

• Lead 300+ warehouse staff to ensure same-day shipping and top-tier service.

Position Responsibilities

• Guide all aspects of day-to-day warehouse operations encompassing inbound, outbound and supporting departments.
• Cultivate and empower a dedicated team of 300+ warehouse employees, ensuring unparalleled customer service and same-day shipping.
• Uphold exceptional levels of accuracy, safety and performance in the daily functions of a well-structured, high-performing warehouse environment.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of hands‑on management experience in 500,000+ square‑foot distribution centers, including recruitment and motivation of a 300+ employee team.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.Experience with performance metrics and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
