Job summary

Uline Milton warehouse is seeking a Senior Distribution Director to oversee a 1 million square-foot facility with 43,000+ products and to guide the day-to-day operations of inbound, outbound, and support functions.

You will empower a 300+ employee team, drive same-day shipping, and maintain safety, accuracy and high performance across all warehouse activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's preferred.
• 10+ years in large distribution centers managing 300+ staff.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with performance metrics; WMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including inbound and outbound.

Position Responsibilities

• Guide all aspects of day-to-day warehouse operations encompassing inbound, outbound and supporting departments.
• Cultivate and empower a dedicated team of 300+ warehouse employees, ensuring unparalleled customer service and same-day shipping.
• Uphold exceptional levels of accuracy, safety and performance in the daily functions of a well-structured, high-performing warehouse environment.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of hands-on management experience in 500,000+ square-foot distribution centers, including recruitment and motivation of a 300+ employee team.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with performance metrics and warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
