Reporting to CFO & VP Shared Services, the Senior Director, Information Technology will lead a ~30-person IT team supporting plants, supply chain, distribution, and corporate functions,

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive IT experience with senior leadership responsibility.
• Proven experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain operations.
• Track record leading digital transformation and organizational change.
• Experience as strategic business partner to executive/operational leaders.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Strong stakeholder management & cross-functional leadership.
• Experience aligning technology strategy with business growth.
• Hands-on with ERP, manufacturing tech, data analytics, automation.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the CFO & VP Shared Services, the Senior Director, Information Technology will lead a team of approximately 30 IT professionals supporting manufacturing plants, supply chain, distribution, and corporate functions.

As a key member of the leadership team, you will play a critical role in helping the organization modernize processes, leverage emerging technologies, and execute enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that support long-term growth.

You will:

• Develop and execute a technology and digital transformation roadmap aligned with business priorities and strategic objectives
• Lead enterprise-wide transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability, decision-making, and overall business performance
• Serve as a trusted advisor to the executive team, helping leaders understand how technology can create competitive advantage and operational excellence
• Translate complex technical concepts into business language that stakeholders can understand and act upon
• Drive a culture where IT is viewed as a strategic business partner and enabler of growth
• Build strong partnerships across Operations, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, HR, and Executive Leadership teams
• Lead cross-functional initiatives that bring business and technology teams together to achieve shared objectives
• Collaborate with stakeholders to simplify processes, improve workflows, and identify opportunities for automation and innovation
• Champion practical applications of AI, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies that deliver measurable business outcomes
• Ensure technology solutions are fit-for-purpose, scalable, and aligned with the needs of a mid-sized, growth-oriented business
• Oversee enterprise systems including ERP, manufacturing systems, supply chain technologies, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business applications
• Modernize legacy environments while maintaining operational stability, plant uptime, and business continuity
• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing IT organization focused on collaboration, service excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For:

• 15+ years of progressive IT experience, including significant senior leadership responsibility
• Proven experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or supply chain operations
• A demonstrated track record of leading digital transformation and organizational change
• Experience acting as a strategic business partner to executive and operational leaders
• Exceptional ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills
• Proven success influencing and collaborating across multiple functions and levels of an organization
• Experience developing technology strategies that support business growth and operational objectives
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems, manufacturing technologies, data and analytics, automation, and digital transformation initiatives
• Strong commercial and business acumen with the ability to balance innovation with practical business needs
• The ability to identify the right solution for the organization, understanding that "fit-for-purpose" often delivers more value than unnecessary complexity
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree considered an asset
