Facilitates growth initiatives for the Bank through significant business development and excellent management of key client relationships. Maintains an outstanding and continuous record of significant revenue generation from sales and syndications. Ensures the required internal control standards, including adherence to audit, regulatory and compliance policies.

  • Leads and executes business development plans to achieve or exceed business goals.
  • Provides strategic input into business decisions as a trusted advisor.
  • Makes recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives, based on an in-depth understanding of the business/group.
  • Acts as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and policies.
  • Advises on sales strategy based on a deep understanding of the market, industry verticals, competitors, client needs, and growth opportunities.
  • Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.
  • Develops business cases by identifying needs, analyzing options, and assessing ROI.
  • Recommends business priorities, resource requirements, and develops roadmaps for strategic execution.
  • Networks with industry contacts for insights and best practices.
  • Coordinates database management, ensuring data alignment and compliance with governance standards.
  • Leads change management initiatives, including planning, stakeholder engagement, execution, and evaluation.
  • Manages risks associated with the portfolio in a timely manner.
  • Oversees review processes, reporting, and exception resolution.
  • Maintains documentation and ensures compliance with policies and safety standards.
  • Leads operational programs, ensuring quality and adaptability.
  • Acts as daily sales contact for clients regarding product info, pricing, and timelines.
  • Gathers data to support sales processes and documentation.
  • Supports pre-sales activities, including pitch prep and client research.
  • Tracks requests and maintains client data accuracy.
  • Provides research and data to facilitate client solutions.
  • Supports sales and service admin processes for seamless client experience.
  • Ensures accurate billing and current client records.
  • Serves as a resource at the enterprise level for senior stakeholders.
  • Uses expertise to address complex, ambiguous situations and adapt to trends.
  • Broader responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Typically 7+ years of relevant experience with a related post-secondary degree or equivalent.
  • If applicable, credit qualifications per standards.
  • Proven success in business development and networking.
  • Knowledge of industry verticals and market environment.
  • Experience in negotiations and RFP responses.
  • Expertise in sales strategy, risk management, relationship management, and conflict resolution.
  • Strong business acumen, financial understanding, and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, influence, collaboration, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and work across teams.

Salary : $79,800.00 - $148,200.00

Pay Type: Salaried
