Position Overview
Reporting to the President & Chief Creative Officer, The Senior Director, Brand & Community Marketing is responsible for bringing Rennaï’s story to life across all touchpoints - digital, social, in-store, events, and content. This leader blends content strategy, creative thinking, community-building, and business discipline to drive traffic, engagement, and loyalty. They will manage a small internal team and a network of agency and freelance partners, ensuring that every piece of content, every event, and every customer interaction feels distinctly and powerfully Rennaï.

Responsibilities- Lead the Brand & Marketing Function
- Lead the brand marketing team, overseeing content, events, and digital strategies.
- Foster a high-performing, collaborative team culture focused on creativity, community, and results.
- Partner closely with the Chief Creative Officer to align marketing vision with Rennaï’'s overall brand strategy.
- Build and Execute a Community-Driven Content Strategy
- Shape and lead a content strategy that inspires, educates, and invites participation-driving connection both online and in-store.
- Ensure every piece of content (whether produced internally, by creative agencies, content developers, or sourced from brand partners) feels distinctly Rennaï.
- Drive brand tone, editorial direction, and messaging consistency across platforms, campaigns, and agency output.
- Own Brand Standards & Visual Consistency
- Act as the guardian of Rennaï’s brand standards and storytelling voice.
- Ensure all creative and marketing materials, from social posts to signage, align with our elevated but relatable tone and brand identity.
- Review agency and internal creative work with an eye for detail, consistency, and emotional resonance and work with the Chief Creative Officer on approvals.
- Drive Traffic, Profile Creation, and Event Engagement
- Lead initiatives that drive store and web traffic, increase profile creation, and maximize participation in in-store events and services.
- Use a mix of organic and paid media (via agencies), CRM, content, and influencer/community tactics to achieve performance targets.
- Collaborate with the Digital Specialist to track and optimize KPIs related to campaign effectiveness and customer engagement.
- Oversee Agency Partnerships and Campaign Planning
- Manage relationships with creative, social, and media agencies-ensuring all deliverables reflect Rennaï's vision and priorities.
- Collaborate with the Chief Creative Officer on the development and execution of campaign briefs in partnership with internal and external teams.
- Ensure timelines, deliverables, and messaging stay on-brand and on-track.
- Coordinate Cross-Functional Execution
- Act as the key connector between brand marketing and functions like Store Sales & Service, Product & Merchandising, and Events.
- Maintain a consistent marketing calendar and campaign briefing system to align internal stakeholders and agency partners.
- Support the Events & Activations Manager and Manager, In-store Visuals & Events in ensuring in-store execution is tightly aligned with campaign intent.
Skills And Experience You Will Need
- 10+ years in marketing, brand management, or content leadership roles, ideally within beauty, luxury retail, or lifestyle sectors.
- Proven experience developing cross-platform content strategies and building community-driven brands.
- Solid leadership and people development skills, with experience leading both internal teams and managing external agencies.
- Business acumen with a demonstrated ability to deliver traffic growth, engagement metrics, profile/database expansion, and event participation targets.
- Excellent creative sensibility, with the ability to collaborate closely with creative teams and respect brand aesthetics.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
- Bilingual (French/English) strongly preferred.
