  6. Total Compensation: $133,000 - $200,000 CAD + Profit Sharing (after 1 year)
  7. Starting Pay: $133,000 - 183,250 CAD

The Role

As our Director, Brand Media Strategy, you will lead innovation and growth in Thrive's brand media services, develop measurement frameworks, and drive client success through media buying and publisher negotiations. You will foster collaboration across teams to enhance our full-funnel offerings and build high-performing teams.

Core Responsibilities
  1. Lead top-of-funnel media buying, leveraging industry expertise to identify new opportunities and deliver impactful results.
  2. Manage relationships with key publishers and Tier 1 clients, guiding strategy and ensuring long-term growth.
  3. Mentor and develop a team of expert marketers, fostering innovation and continuous learning.
  4. Create and execute strategic roadmaps to expand Thrive’s brand media offerings and bridge into full-funnel marketing.
Onboarding & Growth Milestones
  • First 30 days: immerse in media practices, evaluate strategies, and identify quick wins.
  • First 60 days: lead negotiations, develop measurement frameworks, and enhance full-funnel capabilities.
  • First 90 days: lead growth initiatives, establish thought leadership, and evolve service offerings.
Qualifications
  • Managed brand media portfolios >$50M annually with proven business impact.
  • Led negotiations with major media platforms and publishers.
  • Built measurement frameworks connecting brand initiatives to business outcomes.
  • Mentored teams of 10+ professionals in brand and upper funnel marketing.
  • Hands-on experience with programmatic and digital channels (DV360, CM360, CTV, Podcasts, DOOH).
Compensation & Benefits

Competitive base salary above market percentile, plus benefits including remote work, paid vacation, sick days, wellbeing days, medical/dental coverage over $40k CAD, and more.
