Creative Currency is seeking a Senior Digital Strategist to lead audience-driven strategies across digital, social, and integrated campaigns. You will shape channel mix, messaging, and creative directions, collaborating with creative and media teams to deliver measurable results.
You'll bring 5–8 years in digital strategy, strong analytical and writing skills, and comfort with AI-powered research to accelerate insights.
Position: Senior Digital Strategist
Job Type: Full Time
Location:Toronto
Start Date: Start date is negotiable
Salary: $80,000–$100,000
Creative Currency is looking for a Senior Digital Strategist to join our Strategy team. This role leads the thinking behind how we reach, engage, and move audiences — across digital, social, and integrated campaigns for clients who need to win in a complex and fast-moving environment.
This is a strategy-first role. You will be responsible for developing audience insights, channel strategies, and campaign frameworks that give our creative and media teams a clear direction to execute against. You won’t just be handing off decks — you’ll be in the room through briefing, execution, and measurement, making sure the strategy holds together at every stage.
You’ll also bring a working understanding of paid media — enough to provide meaningful oversight on channel mix and media strategy, and to have a real conversation with our Paid Media team about how the plan is performing and why.
Our clients span consumer brands, advocacy organizations, public affairs campaigns, and not-for-profits. The work requires someone who understands that strategy isn’t just about reaching people — it’s about changing what they think, feel, or do. If that distinction matters to you, you’ll fit in here.
You will work across both Creative Currency and our sister agency, Enterprise Canada, supporting national and regional clients across a range of sectors — from national advocacy campaigns and brand launches to public affairs advertising and digital storytelling initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings 5–8 years of experience in digital strategy, campaign strategy, or a related discipline, ideally from an agency, communications firm, or political campaign environment.
Competitive compensation, performance incentives, and ongoing opportunities to grow through mentorship, learning, and professional development.
Health coverage includes vision, dental, prescription drugs, and mental health support. We also cover a portion of your monthly phone expenses and your AI subscription of choice — because we actually expect you to use it.
We’re not a traditional advertising agency. Our work spans public affairs, healthcare, culture, and consumer spaces — helping organizations find currency in a world shaped by social change, political complexity, and digital disruption.
We value collaboration and connection, and genuinely enjoy working together. No forced fun, just good people doing good work.
Flexibility matters. We support different needs and schedules, and we’ll work with you to help you do your best work.
Creative Currency is a different kind of creative agency and content studio. We sell ideas, not stuff. We create currency. That means developing ideas and content that shift perception, build trust and move people to act. Our work brings strategists, storytellers, and campaigners together so that insight moves into execution quickly and with purpose. Our sister agency, Enterprise Canada , is a national strategic communications firm with expertise in government relations, public relations, health care and issues management. We have offices located across Canada in Toronto, Hamilton, Ottawa, Halifax, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver.
