Job summary

Metrolinx in Canada seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead delivery of complex digital and technology initiatives. You will apply Agile and Scrum practices, manage priorities, and drive projects from planning through implementation and transition.

You will collaborate with business, technology and vendor teams, maintain integrated plans, budgets, and schedules, and provide executive-level reporting on delivery health and risks.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Senior-level PM experience delivering complex digital initiatives.
• Hands-on Agile/Scrum delivery experience with ceremonies.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and PM frameworks.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent digital and technology projects from planning through implementation and transition.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define objectives, scope, deliverables, schedules, dependencies and success measures.
• Apply Agile and Scrum delivery practices to establish delivery cadence and manage backlogs, dependencies, risks, issues, milestones and release plans.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) ensuring focus on delivery outcomes.
• Manage competing priorities and deadlines across initiatives, escalate decisions or constraints when required.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, budgets and resource requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams, establishing accountability for deliverables, decisions and timelines.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and provide effective communication and issue resolution.
• Provide concise project reporting and executive-level visibility into schedule and delivery health.
• Monitor progress with performance indicators and take corrective actions to stay on track.
• Drive quality and delivery discipline to meet business requirements.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks affecting timelines, scope, or budget.
• Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement in delivery.
• Use Metrolinx tools to support governance, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Promote an inclusive, collaborative team environment focused on delivery outcomes.
