GIRO Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps Developer (Build) in Montreal to optimize internal build processes and deliverables. You will identify root causes of failures, implement robust pipelines, and partner with security, IT and legal teams to improve tooling and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related field.
• 10 years of experience as a software developer.
• Understanding and practical application of industry DevOps best practices.
• Experience improving and debugging application builds in C++/C# across multiple versions.
• Strong knowledge of Git repository and branch management.
• Hands-on experience with tools and platforms such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, PowerShell and package managers.
• Strong knowledge of Windows, Windows Server and SQL environments.
• Strong understanding of typical developer workflows.
• Knowledge of observability and diagnostic tools (Dynatrace or equivalent).
• Leadership and initiative to carry out assignments; methodical and self-directed.

Responsibilities

• Identify root causes of build failures and develop resilient, sustainable solutions.
• Provide daily status updates to internal clients on version progress.
• Promote best practices among teams and improve build/validation tools.
• Collaborate with the application platform team to optimize pipelines and resources.
