Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior/Team Lead Full Stack Application Developer to join a leading North American customs brokerage company. The role is hybrid with two onsite days per week in Etobicoke, Toronto area.

You will lead technically while remaining hands-on across front-end and back-end work, guiding offshore resources, and driving delivery in a complex platform. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of leadership capability and strong C#/.NET, Angular/TypeScript, and SQL Server experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of overall leadership ability is preferred.
• Hands-on full stack development with back-end and front-end expertise.
• Experience guiding offshore development resources and coordinating delivery.

Insight Global is looking for a Senior/Team Lead Full Stack Application Developer to join a leading North American customs brokerage company. Our customer is seeking a senior developer who can remain hands‑on while providing day‑to‑day technical leadership and coordination support, including guiding offshore development resources. This is not expected to be a formal people manager initially, but the individual must demonstrate team leadership capability and strong collaboration skills.

This is a hybrid role and requires two days per week onsite in Etobicoke.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead by example as a hands‑on full stack developer (front-end + back-end)
• Help direct and coordinate offshore development resources; drive clarity on priorities and execution
• Support delivery, troubleshooting, and ongoing enhancement work in a complex platform environment
• Promote best practices, efficient execution, and consistent team communication

Skills and Requirements

• Strong C#/.NET experience (for building scalable and high-performance backend applications and APIs)
• Strong Angular + TypeScript experience (for robust and responsive front end development)
• Full stack delivery experience and ability to guide others technically
• Strong understanding of SQL Server, stored Procedures, Indexing, Database design
• Comfort using AI‑assisted development tools for troubleshooting and productivity (not necessarily building AI into products)

Experience Level

• 5+ years strongly preferred (overall leadership ability is the key)
• Knowledge in thread programming and reflection
