Base pay range

CA$105,000.00/yr - CA$120,000.00/yr

They have spent the last 3 years developing an in-house software platform that is a no-code configurable platform for the distribution of financial products. The project went live at the start of the year and has been successful. They have many upcoming projects to enhance the platform.

They are currently looking for a Senior .NET Developer to join a team of about 5 people. You will be part of a scrum team with developers, product owners, and DevOps engineers. They seek someone passionate about how their work impacts the business. The team has a pipeline of projects, especially with the new platform, and is eager to welcome a new member.

Position details:

• Title: Senior Developer
• Location: Fully remote
• Type: Full-time, permanent
• Salary: CA$110,000 - CA$120,000 with flexibility + benefits + RRSP matching + 4 weeks vacation. Additionally, you can work 4 weeks remotely from anywhere in the world annually. Perks include gym access, office expenses, and a discretionary bonus based on team and individual performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop APIs in .NET 9
• Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies: grooming, planning, reviews, retrospectives
• Provide Level 2 and outage incident support on a rotation basis
• Develop Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) using WebAssembly (Blazor) or other modern front-end frameworks like React

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience developing applications in C#
• Experience in an Agile/DevOps environment
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills

Preferred but not required:

• Experience in Insurance or Financial Services
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Experience with TDD, BDD, or CI/CD in production
• Front-end development experience with React, Blazor, Angular, in collaboration with UI/UX teams
