Position Details

This is a full-time teleworking position, with work arrangements to be discussed with hiring managers according to departmental guidelines.

Your Role

As a Machine Learning Developer, you will collaborate with your product manager to design, develop, and deploy machine learning solutions, focusing on content prediction and user retention strategies.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models using Microsoft Azure Machine Learning.
2. Integrate ML solutions into existing applications with data science and engineering teams.
3. Analyze large datasets to extract relevant insights.
4. Draft technical documents and performance reports for stakeholders.
5. Consult with product managers to incorporate predictive features.
6. Support the Business Intelligence team with advanced modeling needs.
7. Perform data exploration to select features for models.
8. Identify data collection gaps and coordinate with relevant teams.
9. Program data extraction, standardization, and transformation processes.
10. Develop and refine production models iteratively.
11. Contribute to evolving prediction architecture based on Microsoft Azure ML and Databricks.
12. Communicate technological innovations effectively to non-technical audiences.

Required Skills

1. Graduate degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience.
2. Proven experience developing machine learning models.
3. Proficiency in Python, R, or Scala.
4. Experience with ML libraries like TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch.
5. Knowledge of data pre-processing and ML algorithms.
6. Experience with Agile methodologies.
7. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases.
8. Ability to analyze complex data from various sources.
9. Strong passion for data-driven research.
10. Excellent French language skills; English skills are an asset and development of language skills is encouraged.

Additional Assets

• Experience with C#, TypeScript, NodeJS.
• Experience with other Cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools.
• Experience with NLP or computer vision.
