Maplesoft Group is seeking a Senior Developer (Guidewire) for a permanent role, offering hybrid/remote work from within Canada. The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain Guidewire applications, contribute to modernization initiatives, and mentor teammates while delivering high-quality code across mini-projects and refactoring efforts.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Guidewire development.
• Proficiency with Gosu and Java.
• Experience working with Guidewire Cloud.
• Experience using GitHub for version control and collaboration.
• Ability to understand existing codebases and perform code reviews.
• Ability to work independently and deliver quality solutions.
• Willingness to obtain or maintain Guidewire certifications within the first 3 months of employment if needed.

Position Summary

The Senior Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining Guidewire applications within a cloud-based environment. The successful candidate will hit the ground running, contribute to code reviews and technical investigations, support junior and senior developers, and take ownership of delivering quality code across a variety of mini‑projects, refactoring initiatives, and ongoing application enhancements. This role offers strong opportunities for career growth toward an Expert-level technical position.

Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000 annually
