Job summary

Maarut is seeking a Senior Guidewire Developer to advance our Guidewire solutions within a multidisciplinary team in Quebec City. The role focuses on technical analysis, development, testing, and deployment to meet insurance sector needs.

You will design, develop, and maintain Guidewire applications, participate in needs analysis, and integrate with internal and external systems using REST/SOAP. Strong Java and Gosu skills, plus French communication, are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter/ClaimCenter/BillingCenter.

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Guidewire Developer to contribute to the evolution, integration, and optimization of Guidewire solutions within a multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will actively participate in the technical analysis, development, testing, and deployment of solutions that meet the business needs of the insurance sector.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Guidewire applications (PolicyCenter, etc.).
• Participate in business needs analysis and the definition of technical solutions.
• Develop and configure Guidewire components while adhering to best practices.
• Perform integrations with internal and external systems using web services (REST/SOAP).
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and quality assurance activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development.
