About the Role
Our Deal Desk team collaborates closely with Sales to drive market success and meet revenue goals. We are a diverse, global team committed to creating a positive work environment and fostering career growth. Your role involves acting as a trusted advisor to Sales, helping to structure deals, and working cross-functionally with teams like Sales, Sales Ops, Customer Success, Product, Legal, and Finance to ensure deal success and mutual benefits. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, curious, commercially savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This is a remote position open to candidates residing in Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales to structure and execute Mid-Market deals, balancing customer experience, revenue, and compliance.
  • Advise on deal structure, discounts, and commercial terms to accelerate deal closure and ensure consistency with strategy.
  • Analyze deal financials, including margins and payment terms, to meet financial targets.
  • Mitigate risks by applying standardized terms and ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Manage support requests and quote approvals efficiently, maintaining SLAs.
  • Read and interpret financial statements to inform business decisions.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to facilitate deal closure and enhance customer experience.
  • Collaborate with Enablement to train Sales teams.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.
  • Embed Samsara’s cultural principles—Customer Success, Long-Term Build, Growth Mindset, Inclusion, Teamwork—in your work.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3+ years in Deal Desk, Finance, Sales Operations, or Revenue Operations.
  • Understanding of SaaS deal construction and revenue recognition implications.
  • Ability to analyze deal economics and explain commercial levers.
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive management of internal blockers.
  • Track record of success in high-growth environments.
  • Commercial reasoning with attention to detail and strategic perspective.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Willingness to work extended hours during peak periods.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and Google Sheets/MS Excel.

The annual base salary range for this full-time role is CAD $82,025—$106,150, with actual offers depending on location, experience, and skills.
