Job summary

Randstad Canada is seeking a Senior Data Science Developer to lead the development of advanced analytics, predictive models, and ML solutions addressing enterprise opportunities. You will work across the Azure Data & AI ecosystem and Databricks, designing end-to-end ML pipelines from experimentation to production, partnering with data engineers, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid - 3 days onsite). Duration: 6-month contract.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in statistics, probability, predictive modeling, and machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and core ML frameworks with enterprise data experience.
• Hands-on with Azure ML Studio, Databricks, and Azure AI Foundry.
• Ability to translate business problems into analytical solutions and define measurable KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, train, and validate advanced predictive models and ML solutions.
• Translate business problems into analytical approaches with clear hypotheses and metrics.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and insights across data sources.
• Build and evaluate ML models (classification, regression, clustering) and address bias/variance.
