Background
SaskEnergy Networks & Infrastructure department is seeking a resource to join their Database team. The successful candidate will work within the existing team to help with the design, implementation and administration of the various components of the Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle Database Server, Oracle Access Manager, Oracle HTTP Server and Certificate Authority infrastructure. The resource will follow team standards based on current industry and security best practices for the configuration and implementations of server infrastructure.
Minimum Requirements
The resource MUST have a minimum 10 years of recent and practical database administration experience and a minimum 5 years of recent and practical senior database administration experience. Experience that incorporates cloud services would be an asset.

Proponents are encouraged to provide specific and qualitative verbiage of other areas where their expertise can add value to our teams and make our projects as successful as possible.
The resource is required on site at SaskEnergy Head Office in Regina, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm and the proposed hourly rate shall be inclusive of all travel and living costs. Occasional travel to support offices across the province will be required.
Submitted resources MUST have a valid Class 5 Saskatchewan Driver’s License or equivalent to be considered. On-Call may be required as determined and agreed to by SaskEnergy and successful candidate; for example, a rotational on-call schedule in 1-week intervals.
The initial term for this role(s) will conclude March 31, 2025; after which SaskEnergy will evaluate its ongoing requirements and potentially extend the term for this resource in accordance with the terms and conditions of the bidder’s Technology Master Service Agreement (TMSA).
CONTRACT DURATION
The Contract(s) will be effective for an initial term commencing on the date of award and ending on March 31, 2025. The Contract(s) will automatically renew for successive one (1) year terms, a maximum of four (4) times.
