Job summary

Raise is seeking a Data Scientist III in Toronto, offering hybrid work with 2/3 on-site days and Thursdays reserved for team collaboration. The role emphasizes GenAI, ML modeling, and strong Python skills to deliver data-driven solutions for business problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in CS, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience developing and implementing data science techniques.
• Proficient in Python for data science and GenAI development.

Responsibilities

• Translate business goals into analytical problems and identify suitable algorithms and GenAI architecture.
• Work in cross-functional teams to develop ML/data science products, including GenAI applications.
• Apply data science techniques including descriptive, predictive, and ML methods from design to implementation.
• Focus on feature engineering, model training, evaluation, and prompt engineering for LLMs.
