Job description

Position: Senior Data Scientist
Location: 2801 E. 46 th St., Vernon, CA 90058
Responsibilities: Design scalable, efficient data architectures and frameworks with high
availability, security, and optimized performance. Develop, maintain, and
optimize ETL data pipelines to collect, transform, and store data from multiple
sources. Automate data workflows to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
Integrate and manage data from various sources to ensure consistency, quality,
and compliance with regulations. Optimize data pipelines by identifying and
resolving performance issues to maintain reliable data flow. Implement
governance, validation, and security standards to uphold data integrity and meet
compliance requirements, such as GDPR and HIPAA. Collaborate with
stakeholders to understand their needs and effectively communicate technical
solutions. Lead and mentor the data engineering team, oversee projects, and
select appropriate data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka. Ensure high
availability, security, and performance of data systems through regular audits and
troubleshooting as needed.

Educ./experience: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Informatics or
related field, plus two (2) years of post-baccalaureate experience as a Data
Analyst, or in a related position. Experience must include ETL, Data Analytics,
Machine Learning, A/B Testing, Object-Oriented Programming, Dashboard,
Linux, Agile, Anaconda Jupyter Notebook, and AWS EC2.
