Job summary

EY in Canada seeks a Senior Consultant to join the Cybersecurity Privacy and Data Trust specialty. You will learn and apply leading privacy practices, helping clients manage data protection and stay aligned with evolving regulations while maintaining consumer trust.

This Consulting role delivers client engagements and internal projects, focusing on privacy program design, control maturity, and sustainable processes to support business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or related field with 5 years’ progressive work experience; or Master’s degree with 2–3 years’ experience.
• Knowledge in privacy regulations and risk assessment experience.
• Experience with privacy frameworks and PET is a plus.
• Certified in CIPP (Canada), CIPM or CIPT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver client engagements in privacy and data trust, ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Advise on privacy program design, gaps, and maturity improvements.
• Assess privacy controls, and help implement sustainable processes.
• Present findings clearly using MS PowerPoint and other tools.
