Qualifications

Job Summary:

The Senior Systems Analyst provides advanced technical expertise and project leadership in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of diverse and cost-effective information and IT solutions. This role involves guiding system architecture, leading teams through the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and ensuring alignment of IT solutions with business goals to enhance program and service delivery efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical analysis, design, and architecture of system solutions.
• Provide senior technical advice and coordinate activities across development, implementation, and maintenance phases.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements aligned with project goals and objectives.
• Define program and service delivery requirements for client applications.
• Lead testing, integration, and implementation of system solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost-effective analyses for IT initiatives.
• Manage projects through all SDLC stages including planning, scheduling, resource estimation, and progress monitoring.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Lead development/support teams managing multi-dimensional and relational databases.
• Provide implementation and post-implementation support.
• Oversee research and evaluation of technical components for software, hardware, and systems acquisition.
• Recommend improvements to tools, techniques, standards, and performance criteria.
• Coach and mentor junior analysts throughout projects.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• 5-8 years of experience as a systems analyst, functional consultant, or similar IT system-focused role.
• Strong knowledge of Supply Chain processes including Product Information Management, Master Planning, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX, D365FO, or C365CM including system configuration and support.
• Experience with Data Management Framework (DMF) and system integrations within D365 environments.
• Proficiency with Power Platform tools such as Power Apps, Power Pages, and Dataverse.
• Strong understanding of enterprise application environments and system integration concepts.
• Ability to translate business requirements into detailed system-level designs and configurations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience leading solution workshops and facilitating technical discussions.
• Ability to work effectively in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, or similar tools.
• Ability to support production environments, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents independently.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience supporting or participating in D365 Finance & Operations implementations.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) operating models.
• Experience with eCommerce or related integrated platforms.
• Knowledge and experience in rapid application development (RAD) methodologies.
• Experience with middleware and gateways.
• Understanding of Information Management principles, policies, and practices.
• Experience developing and maintaining documentation per methodology standards.
• Good working knowledge of Dimensions, Facts, and multidimensional structures (cubes).
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for system optimization, automation, and continuous improvement.

Special Considerations:

• Position requires 5 days onsite work.
• Public sector experience is preferred.

Scheduling:

• Standard full-time schedule, 5 days per week onsite.
