Job summary

Workiva Inc. is seeking a Senior Domain Architect, Data Management, to act as a technical advisor within the Data Management Practice.

This role supports customers and partners through onboarding, implementation, and adoption of Workiva solutions, applying expertise in data management, integration, and automation to drive long-term value. The Architect bridges Sales, Engineering, and Customer & Partner Experience teams to design scalable data-management solutions and guide adoption, ensuring

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (CS/CE/IT or similar).
6+ years in customer-facing technical roles (CS, Solution Architecture, or Consulting).
Experience with Python for scripting and automation.
Experience integrating or managing SaaS apps and enterprise systems (Accounting/Finance/Audit/Compliance).
Strong knowledge of data structures, ETL, and SQL development.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with customers to understand business needs, data requirements, and outcomes with Workiva solutions.
Partner with pre-sales to transition to implementation services and beyond.
Engage with Solution Architects and Customer Success teams to ensure cohesive onboarding and implementation.
Analyze customer needs and recommend optimal use of Workiva's Data Management Suite for scalable solutions.
Review data integration workflows between customer systems and the Workiva platform.
Develop data queries and reporting solutions, mentoring stakeholders on leading practices.
Document deployed solutions, configurations, and best practices for internal and external reference.
Monitor customer environments and stay aligned with Workiva product roadmap to guide support and adoption.
