Job summary

HomeEquity Bank seeks a Senior Specialist, Data Loss Prevention to lead technical DLP strategy and enforcement. You will tune policies across email, endpoints, cloud apps, and networks, while driving data risk reporting and governance with the CISO and stakeholders.

You will collaborate with Privacy, Legal, HR, and Data Governance to improve labeling, classification, and protection controls, including audits and regulatory reviews.

Qualifications

• 3 to 7 years in information security.
• Hands-on with enterprise DLP or data security tooling (2-3 years).
• Experience tuning DLP deployments from noisy to trusted with measurable outcomes.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise identity and collaboration platform administration.
• Understanding of data classification, encryption, rights management, and CASB concepts.
• Experience designing security workflows and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as principal technical advisor to the CISO on DLP strategy and enforcement posture.
• Recommend roadmap and maturity plan with risk-based justifications.
• Work with data governance to maintain data taxonomy and labeling schemes.
• Draft and maintain DLP standards and procedures for CISO approval.
• Represent DLP in audits, regulatory reviews and third-party assessments.
• Evaluate platforms and participate in vendor selection and PoCs.
• Identify capability gaps and influence planning cycles.
• Configure and tune policies across email, cloud, endpoints, and networks.
• Integrate DLP telemetry with SIEM, SOAR, ITSM, and case management tools.
• Design triage, escalation, and investigation workflows for DLP alerts.
• Build dashboards and reports on data risk, alert volumes, and remediation timelines.
• Collaborate with Privacy, Legal, HR, Data Governance, and data owners.
