CI Financial is seeking a Data Governance Specialist to strengthen our data governance, data management, and DSPM practices. The role collaborates with technology, information security, and business teams to ensure accurate data classification, documentation, and protection across structured and unstructured data.

The ideal candidate has hands-on data experience and is eager to deepen expertise in data governance, data quality, and data protection across cloud and on-prem environments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in data management, governance, analytics, or data risk management.
• Hands-on with SQL and data profiling; knowledge of DSPM tools is a plus.
• Experience with data governance tools (Collibra, Purview, Informatica, Alation) is beneficial.

Responsabilités

• Support DSPM platform administration and ongoing operation.
• Monitor sensitive data assets across cloud and on-prem environments for privacy and compliance.
• Maintain metadata, data definitions, and data catalog entries.
• Document data lineage by reviewing SQL, dashboards, and data flows.
• Highlight and track data quality concerns with stakeholders.
• Assist in implementing data retention and disposition policies and audits.
