Job summary

ODAIA Intelligence Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Implementation Engineer who will own complex customer implementations end-to-end, translating business needs into scalable data solutions.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Business Acceleration, and ensure high data quality and secure, compliant delivery for strategic customers in a remote-first environment based across Canada and the U.S., with a hub in Toronto.

Qualifications

• 6+ years migrating data, ETL, and pipelines.
• Hands-on Snowflake and AWS experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Experience with APIs and integration frameworks.
• Familiar with orchestration tools (Dagster/Airflow) and dbt.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical teams.
• Life sciences/pharma tools familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own complex customer implementations from discovery to go-live.
• Build automated ETL workflows for reliable data ingestion.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Use PySpark and Snowflake to troubleshoot ETL/data issues.
• Define data validation frameworks for high-quality data.
• Escalation point for implementation and production issues.
• Mentor and support junior Data Implementation Engineers.
• Improve implementation standards, tooling, and processes.
• Ensure data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
