Job summary

Desjardins seeks a Personal Information Protection Risk Advisor to plan, implement and oversee security measures aligning with corporate objectives. You will lead projects across personal data protection, information security, physical security and financial crime prevention, coordinating with many stakeholders and serving as a trusted advisor.

You will design and monitor complex programs, address major issues, and help set priorities for the Desjardins Group Security Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• A minimum of six years of relevant experience.
• Other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of French is required.
• Intermediate knowledge of English due to the nature of duties or work tools or interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale development projects, initiatives and activities in your specialty area that have a significant knock-on effect on the entire organization.
• Design, update, implement and monitor complex action plans, programs, solutions and tools requiring comprehensive and in-depth security knowledge to balance business needs, requirements and best practices.
• Advise clients and partners to help them position, plan, develop, execute and monitor strategic projects and initiatives under your responsibility.
• Identify, analyze, report and diagnose major issues and recommend solutions to decision-making bodies.
• Develop and update policies, standards, models and programs to support your unit's strategic projects and initiatives.
• Represent your unit to decision-making bodies for agreements with external partners and organizations.
