Job summary

Fidelity Canada is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst, Data Engineering and Business Intelligence, to design and scale internal data pipelines and analytics tools using Python and Snowflake. This role collaborates with Product, BI and IT to modernize processes and enable self-service analytics.

You will deliver data models, dashboards and automated reporting, supporting ETL transformations and governance across platforms like Tableau, Power BI and SAP BO.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, BI Analytics or a closely related role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Python-based data pipelines, automation scripts and internal analytics tools.
• Build and optimize data transformations, models and workflows in Snowflake and Informatica Cloud.
• Convert existing spreadsheet-based models into scalable, centralized Python and Snowflake-based solutions.
• Automate internal reporting, data validation, back-testing and analytical workflows to reduce manual effort and error risk.
• Collaborate with Product, BI and IT teams to modernize spreadsheet-based processes and enable self-service analytics.
