Job summary

Clutch Canada Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer in Toronto to own and evolve our data platform end-to-end. You’ll design scalable warehouses, pipelines, and data models that power pricing, funnel insights, and financing decisions.

You’ll work with Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Python, and AWS, collaborating with analysts and data scientists to drive business value and maintain data quality and governance.

Qualifications

• Production data pipelines and platforms experience.
• Advanced SQL and Python proficiency.
• Experience with modern cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
• Experience with dbt and Airflow.
• AWS cloud platform experience and data services.
• DevOps and observability tooling (Git, GitHub Actions, Docker, Terraform, Datadog).
• Ability to work with stakeholders to deliver business value.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data platform architecture for warehouse and pipelines.
• Build ELT pipelines integrating data from apps and third-party tools.
• Model data in collaboration with analysts and data scientists.
• Support data science and ML workflows in production.
• Ensure data quality, observability, monitoring and alerts.
• Apply CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to data governance.
