Job summary
LTIMindtree Canada is seeking an experienced AI/ML engineer to advance GenAI initiatives across apps development and systems analysis. You will work with leading LLMs, design RAG pipelines, craft prompt templates, and push production-ready GenAI solutions in a cloud-native environment.
The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, implementation of robust deployment pipelines, and a strong focus on safety and scalability of GenAI features.
Qualifications
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis
- Strong GenAI foundations across ML, data science, statistics, NLP and LLMs
- Extensive hands-on with leading LLMs (e.g., Google Gemini, OpenAI, Claude, Mistral)
- Deep RAG pipeline knowledge and hands-on implementation
- Proven ability to build, tune, and deploy LLM-based apps (Vertex AI, Hugging Face)
- Expertise in prompt engineering, tuning, and reusable templates
- Hands-on with agentic framework-based use cases
- Knowledge of Guardrails and GenAI safety assessment methods
- Strong Python programming with Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, PyTorch, TF, Transformers
- Experience integrating GenAI with enterprise apps via APIs, graphs, orchestration tools
- Experience with vector databases (PG Vector, Pinecone, Mongo Atlas, Neo4j) for data storage/retrieval
- Experience handling large unstructured data and designing high-throughput solutions
- MLOps deployment of GenAI models, pipelines, and CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab, ArgoCD)
- Container orchestration (OpenShift or Kubernetes) for cloud-native deployment
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills

o Strong foundational knowledge in GenAI Machine Learning ML modeling Data Science Statistics and AI fundamentals including Natural Language Processing NLP Neural Networks and Large Language Models LLMs
Generative AI LLM Expertise
o Extensive handson experience with leading LLMs such as Google Gemini OpenAI models Anthropic Claude Mistral Llama and various other opensource LLMs
o Critical Deep working knowledge and handson experience with RetrievalAugmented Generation RAG pipelines including advanced RAG techniques and their detailed implementation
o Proven ability to build tune and deploy LLMbased applications using platforms like Vertex AI Hugging Face etc
o Expertise in developing robust prompt engineering strategies prompt tuning and creating reusable prompt templates
o Handson experience with agentic frameworkbased use case implementation
o Working knowledge of Guardrails and methodologies for assessing the performance and safety of GenAI features
Programming Data Engineering
o Strong programming proficiency in Python is a must including extensive experience with libraries such as Pandas NumPy scikitlearn PyTorch TensorFlow Transformers FastAPI Seaborn LangChain and LlamaIndex
o Proficiency in integrating generative AI with enterprise applications using APIs knowledge graphs and orchestration tools
o Handson experience with various vector databases eg PG Vector Pinecone Mongo Atlas Neo4j for efficient data storage and retrieval
o Experience in dealing with large amounts of unstructured data and designing solutions for highthroughput processing
Deployment MLOps
o Critical Handson experience deploying GenAIbased models to production environments
o Strong understanding and practical experience with MLOps principles model evaluation and establishing robust deployment pipelines
o Strong expertise in CICD principles and tools eg Jenkins GitLab CI Azure DevOps ArgoCD for automated builds testing and deployments
Cloud Containerization
o Proven experience with container orchestration platforms like OpenShift or Kubernetes for deploying managing and scaling containerized applications in a cloudnative environment
Soft Skills
o Strong problemsolving abilities excellent collaboration skills for working effectively with crossfunctional teams and the capability to work independently on complex ambiguous problems
