We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer (Database Developer) who will be responsible for designing and developing database systems, data models, and schemas, as well as building data pipelines that assemble large, complex data sets for analytical purposes.

In this role, you will…

• Work in an agile team, collaborating with other teams across product lines to develop specifications and deliver high-quality solutions
• Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL scripts, procedures, and functions
• Support database design and implement solutions to improve data structures
• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases and related components
• Build and manage data pipelines for reporting and ETL workflows
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues in Oracle environments

Qualifications and Skills

You’ve demonstrated the ability to do the following through education and/or experience:

• Strong understanding of relational database design and data modeling
• Practical experience with SQL and PL/SQL for database operations, scripting, and automation
• Knowledge of relational database platforms, especially Oracle 19c/23c and ExaCC, with a good understanding of Cloud technologies such as Azure and Oracle OCI (big plus)
• Comfort working in Unix/Linux environments, including scripting languages
• Experience building and optimizing data pipelines using tools like Talend, Azure Synapse, or Kafka
