Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer (Database Developer) responsible for designing and developing database systems, data models, and schemas, as well as building data pipelines to assemble large, complex data sets for analytical purposes.

In this role, you will…

1. Work in an agile team, collaborating with other teams across product lines to develop specifications and deliver high-quality solutions
2. Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL scripts, procedures, and functions
3. Support database design and implement solutions to improve data structures
4. Install, configure, and maintain Oracle databases and related components
5. Build and manage data pipelines for reporting and ETL workflows
6. Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues in Oracle environments

What we are looking for…

You should have demonstrated the ability to:

1. Possess a strong understanding of relational database design and data modeling (logical and physical)
2. Have practical experience with SQL and PL/SQL for database operations, scripting, and automation
3. Have a strong working knowledge of relational database platforms, especially Oracle 19c/23c and ExaCC, with a good understanding of cloud technologies like Azure and Oracle OCI (big plus)
4. Be comfortable working in Unix/Linux environments, including scripting
5. Proven ability to build and optimize data pipelines and workflows using tools such as Talend, Azure Synapse, or Kafka
