Job summary

Simons is seeking a senior data & BI professional to maximize enterprise data value, report to the Director, IT – Data, BI & AI, and design analytical solutions to support strategic business decisions.

You will develop dashboards, KPIs, and BI reports, ensuring data quality, while collaborating with stakeholders to translate complex data into actionable insights and drive AI, automation, and governance initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in BI, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Eight (8) to ten (10) years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Management.
• Demonstrated experience developing dashboards, KPIs, and business intelligence solutions.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights and strategic business recommendations.
• Experience with modern business intelligence platforms, analytics tools, and data governance initiatives.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex analytical concepts into business-friendly insights.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze enterprise data to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and value creation initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their information needs and recommend appropriate analytics and reporting solutions.
• Design, develop, and enhance dashboards, KPIs, and business intelligence reports to support informed decision-making.
• Ensure the quality, consistency, and reliability of data used across analytics platforms and reporting solutions.
• Contribute to Artificial Intelligence, automation, and data-driven innovation initiatives that improve business performance.
• Support business users in interpreting data and promote best practices in data literacy, analytics, and information management.
