Position Title: Senior Data Architect

Tenure: 09 Months (Extendable)

Location: Toronto, ON

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. 15+ years of experience in data engineering, with significant focus on cloud-based data platforms.
3. 12+ years of experience in a data architect role, including defining and implementing data solutions.
4. Proven experience leading and mentoring data engineering teams.
5. Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Azure data services, including but not limited to:
1. Azure Data Factory (ADF)
2. Azure Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake)
3. Azure Synapse Analytics (SQL DW, Spark Pools - preferred but not strictly required)
4. Azure Blob Storage
5. Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2)
6. Azure Event Hubs
7. Azure Stream Analytics
8. Azure Functions
9. Azure Logic Apps
10. Azure DevOps (CI/CD pipelines)
6. Preferred technical certifications:
1. Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate
2. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
3. Snowflake SnowPro Core Certification
7. Additional relevant certifications in cloud computing, data management, or big data technologies.
