Job summary

Jane Software Inc. seeks a data-focused analyst to drive analytics that inform financial decisions. You will collaborate with Finance and Payments to define requirements, validate logic, and deliver high-quality data products across metrics, models, and dashboards.

You’ll own end-to-end analyses—from SQL/dbt development to building Looker dashboards—ensuring data quality, accurate calculations, and clear insights for planning, revenue analysis, and cost reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or BI Analyst.
• Strong SQL, dbt, and Looker skills with the ability to write complex queries and build dashboards.
• Experience communicating technical concepts and financial logic to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to own projects end-to-end and drive them from concept to delivery.
• Attention to detail in reconciliation, financial logic, and QA.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance and Payments to build and maintain metrics, models, and dashboards for financial reporting.
• Own end-to-end analytics from requirements to dashboards and insights.
• Develop and optimize Looker dashboards for financial planning and revenue analysis.
• Maintain and evolve core financial data models in dbt.
• Troubleshoot data quality issues and ensure trusted, reconciled datasets.
