Title: Senior Data Analyst

Duration: 6+ months with possible extension

Location: 240 Richmond Street West, Toronto, CA (hybrid 3 days in-office)

Pay rate: CAD 40 to CAD 45/hr on T4

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Use SQL/Python to analyze data, create summarized reports, and provide insights and recommendations.
• Create Tableau dashboards for continuous monitoring of important business metrics.
• Establish a monitoring framework for business initiatives and ensure the business unit is alerted in case of issues.
• Perform ad-hoc analysis to support data-driven decisions for the tax business.
• Perform risk assessments of new tax rules and calculate out-of-pocket expenses.
• Present analysis to stakeholders independently.
• Perform peer QC of codes and deliverables to ensure accurate reports are sent out.
• Build close partnerships with the business unit to identify and explore areas of impactful analytics and operational opportunities to help drive operational efficiencies and cost reduction.
• Post-launch monitoring: measure performance of features and programs post-launch and report back to product and business teams.
• Promote a self-serve analytics culture by educating partners on key reports, data, and interpretation best practices.
• Maintain proactive collaboration with other business functions like Customer Services, Legal, Product, and Finance to ensure visibility across functions.
