Job summary

Blue Sky Consulting is seeking a Senior Functional Consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to engage directly with clients, map business processes, and design BC solutions. You will configure modules, run workshops, and support go-live activities in close collaboration with developers and project managers.

You will lead discovery workshops, document business requirements, and translate them into functional specs for successful ERP implementations.

Qualifications

7+ years of Business Central or NAV functional consulting experience.
Strong accounting understanding and background.
Ability to gather requirements and design scalable ERP solutions.
Excellent communication, documentation, and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

Lead discovery workshops and document detailed business requirements.
Map processes across Finance, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, Projects, and Manufacturing.
Produce solution design documents, fit-gap analyses, and process flows.
Configure Business Central modules for end-to-end implementations.
Build and test the setup for BC modules and conduct UAT.
Conduct training workshops and functional testing.
Act as the primary functional contact for client leads.
Provide best-practice guidance and challenge assumptions when needed.
Prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Support go-live, cut-over planning, and post-go-live support.
