Vermilion Energy Inc. is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity & Operations Specialist for our Calgary head office.

You will lead complex incident response, digital forensics and security operations across on-premises and Azure cloud environments, translating cyber risk into actionable business guidance. You will oversee security monitoring, vendor management, and the corporate security awareness program, driving continuous improvement and ensuring governance, compliance and risk mitigation across

Qualifications

• Experience in cyber security operations: incident detection, escalation, investigation and response.
• Proficiency with SIEM and security operations technologies (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel).
• Hands-on digital forensics, vulnerability management, security assessments and risk documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex cyber security incidents investigations and response.
• Perform digital forensics and analyze alerts, logs, and threat intel.
• Oversee security monitoring across SIEM, endpoint, identity, network and cloud security.
• Coordinate with SOC/MxDR providers; drive service improvements.
• Lead threat hunting, vulnerability management, and security assessments.
